Our Visionary Founder
My name is Monika Diaz and I am the founder of Phatefx Master Academy, with over 30 years
of experience in the beauty industry. As a life coach, business owner, and educator, I have
taught at multiple beauty colleges, worked in various salons, and trained countless
professionals. My academy has provided comprehensive classes led by seasoned educators
and partnered with organizations to support the community, including toy drives, holiday family
adoptions, and fostering opportunities for underserved youth.
Inspired by my upbringing with my grandparents, who raised numerous grandchildren with
limited resources, I am very passionate about empowering foster youth and their families.
Phatefx Master Academy welcomes foster youth, offering them mentorship, cultural awareness,
and opportunities to develop confidence and life skills. My mission is to instill a sense of
belonging and boundless potential, helping them see the beauty within and beyond.
